Harding Racing Finally Gets On the Track: BCM

The Mercedes Benz/Tucker Time For Pets Sprintcar Team have just recently got the logistics of building a new team together & hit the clay ways at Bunbury City Speedway & Perth Motorplex since the teams debut on Boxing day 2011.

The team has endured tough times with work behind the scenes and Trevor Jr & Snr as well as Daniel & car constructor Geoff Murphy from Murphy Racecars have been Hard at it at the Maddington workshops preparing two exciting looking racecars.

After the first nights racing I met up with Daniel & Trevor and the had this to say to me, starting with Trevor “The decision to go Sprintcar racing didn’t come lightly, having a two car operation is hard for any team but to do this as rookies even harder, we need to understand the cars, the motors and even the big wheels as well, but we are working hard together to achieve our goals, for this season it is about learning & keeping it straight and im sure with Dad & Geoff behind us we will succeed in doing that”

“The dream is finally a reality” Daniel Harding told me recently. “we have been working on this for a long time, even since before we ran the F500s & now to do it I could not be more happy, Dad & Geoff have worked hard behind the scenes as well as bolting us together some very nice race cars, all is in place now for us to learn & get faster with the more meetings we can get under our belts. I love being able to do this as a family & race with Trevor but at the same time beat him as well. I have been very lucky to have raced a lot of things in my life from Solo speedway bilkes, Aussie Cars, F500s & now Sprintcars, so the challenges ahead I look forward to”

The Mercedes Benz/Tucker Time For Pets Sprintcar Team have had a lot of support come their way since deciding to build this team, the help alone from Mercedes Benz has been outstanding & they hope to give them a package they can be proud off the track as well as get results on the track, other companies like Tucker Time For Pets, Trevor & Larrisa at Jolly Good Auto Electrics they are not only sponsors but great family friends, Filters élite, Dirty Dog Eyewear, Luke from Revolution Racegear making the boys look good,  Asteel Powder coating, As usual Craig from Empire Graphics has made the cars look outstanding & We thank him a lot for that, Supafit Seat covers, Rentco, Geoff from Murphy Racecars has helped this team from a dream to a reality, his understanding of the sport & tutoring the drivers has been a learning experience both on & off the track, Marshall from Motorworld has been there himself & his trust in the Harding boys, Motul, RPC Surface Treatment, Reac Systems, CMPS & Team BCM have all been there from the start & I feel that Harding Racing will only get better from here, Daniel Harding said “to get support of our racing from these companies is a dream come true & I hope Trevor & I can show them back the trust they gave in us with presence at the venues, I am really looking forward to this”

The Race team working at the track & behind the scenes have gelled well, the amount of hard work the boys have put in to allow Daniel & Trevor to go racing is amazing & the Harding’s cannot thank them enough, together they are all chasing a dream.
